Michael Eggington

CEO & Founder — Guild Living

Michael Eggington brings 30 years’ experience in the property sector, with over half of this spent in leadership roles, to deliver a new approach for later living across the UK in partnership with Legal & General. During Michael’s 15-year career with major listed companies - including 6 years as Managing Director of Retirement Living at Lendlease and 5 years as General Manager for Walker Communities - he was directly responsible for more than 16,000 residents, across 70+ later living communities and over 1,000 team members. His passion for changing how older people live in the future has made him a Government Policy advisor, association Director, and keynote speaker.

Michael Holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General, Swinburne University of Technology, 1999–2003.

Stephen Bennet

Major Projects

Stephen has an extensive history of major project delivery for both self-perform and supply chain management projects and has worked across a wide array of large scale developments including hospitals, universities, high rise, amusement parks, processing plants, warehouses, and power stations.

Stephen brings an invaluable wealth of experience to the table with over 30 years combined at Leighton Holdings and CIMIC Group subsidiaries in Asia, The Middle East and New Zealand working as Project Director responsible for delivery and P&L of major projects such as Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi, Liantang China/Hong Kong Border Crossing, and more recently at Waikeria Prison New Zealand as well as Construction Director on the MELCO City of Dreams Casino in Manila and as General Manager for Leighton in Thailand and Vietnam.

Throughout his career, Stephen has worked across Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Macau, Hong Kong) through to the UAE, India and New Zealand. 

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science (Building) from Canberra University.
